Saddle Up! Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The ten-day event, which bills itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth", attracts over one million visitors per year and features one of the world's largest rodeos, a parade, midway, stage shows, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon racing and First Nations exhibitions.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller, Alberta, opened in 1985, draw worldwide acclaim for its paleontology research and modern exhibit facilities that displays hundreds of fossils bringing earth's history back to life. The Dinosaur Provincial Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rich in dinosaur bone deposits, also includes Horseshoe Canyon that resembles a smaller version of the U.S. Grand Canyon and Hoodoos, which are sandstone rock pillars in strange, gravity-defying shapes.
